What are kettlebells?

Kettlebell training has been common in Russia since the 1700s and is considered a symbol of national pride and a symbol of strength. Soviet scientists declared kettlebell lifting as one of the best tools for all-around physical development. A kettlebell is a cast iron weight that resembles a cannon ball with a handle and is available in weights ranging from 4kg (9 pounds) to 48kg (106 pounds). In 2001, Pavel Tsatsouline and John Du Cane brought the Russian Kettlebell Club to the United States and held the first kettlebell certification course in the U.S.

Why kettlebells?

With proper instruction Kettlebells are a highly effective tool to:

Who can do kettlebells?

Anyone can use kettlebells for training. Kettlebell training is used by Olympic athletes, firefighters, working professionals and people who are overweight. Training is highly effective for you when used correctly which is why it is very important to first train with an RKC certified trainer.
